(h)ear XL II: Multimedia Sound Art exhibition international call for Sound Artists
Categories: Sound Art installations which may incorporate; video projections, interactive media, unusual sound objects, self-made instruments, soundscapes, small setup performances and more...
This call is open to individuals, groups or collectives engaged in the production of Sound Art created with new/innovative media technologies or experimental uses of more conventional equipment which may include; video art, net-art, installations, compositions, performance and related disciplines.

EXHIBITION DATE: September 26 - November 9, 2014

- (h)ear invites local, national and international artists to submit proposals for our second large Sound Art exhibition -  (h)ear XL II
- (h)ear XL II exhibition will be located in kunstencentrum Signe (art centre Signe) in Heerlen, the Netherlands.
- (h)ear is a foundation which focusses on sound art and experimental music and makes effort to initiate dialogues with other art disciplines.
- (h)ear organizes concerts, performances, workshops, lectures and curates exhibitions about sound art.
- (h)ear provides professional (stage) equipment and technicians, will assist when ever needed, provides good catering and a place to sleep.
- (h)ear connot pay any fees but will in accordance provide compensation for shipping. All work is insured during the exhibition and will be taken care of as if it was ours!


Previous exhibitions have included international artists such as Justin Bennett (UK), Cilia Erens (NL), Zeno van den Broek (NL), Timo van Luijk (BE/FIN), Khe Siang (ID/NL), Simon Scott (UK), Gill Arno (IT/USA), David Toop (UK), Pierre Berthet (BE), Slavek Kwi (CZ/IE), William Engelen (NL/DE), Erwin Stache (DE), Ronald van der Meijs (NL), Raviv Ganchrow (IL/USA/NL), Seoungho Cho (CN), Stephen Vitiello (USA), Steve Roden (USA), Mario van Horrik & Petra Dubac (NL), Wouter Huis (NL), Raymond Dijkstra (NL), Kasper van Hoek (NL), Manon de Boer (IN/NL) and many other fantastic sound artists!
